Summary:
CACOR presentations on the global problematique have often focused on global causes (e.g. overshoot, consumption trends) important symptoms, (climate change, warming) impacts include loss of habitat, and repercussions on humans and other species. Can we try to apply a systems perspective to this which has been described as a poly-crisis and define possible strategic and impactful responses? Can we move away from doom scrolling problems towards improving the situation with responses that may be productive? Our members have expressed interest in a more holistic response to the problematique. Each presenter will share a perspective on this issue followed by a general discussion.
