The Future for the Fossil Fuels.
CACOR member and energy consultant John Walsh penned this comprehensive review of the oil, gas, and coal industries at the turn of the century. He covered international and Canadian aspects of industry scale, consumption levels, attributes of oil (in particular), reserves, “peak oil,” economic policy, pricing, carbon capture and sequestration, electricity generation, coal-bed methane, methanol, hydrogen, and energy complexes, and closed with a brief mention of energy emergencies.
