Inform yourself! Make your vote count. The party’s responses to questions on conservation and Nature from thirteen leading conservation organizations have been published by Ontario Nature. It appears that, of the four main parties, only the PCs did not respond.
You can find out the party’s positions on completing Ontario’s commitment to putting 17% of the province into protected status.
We all care about climate action. How do each party’s promises stack up? (I know that usually political promises are vacuous, but it’s all we have to judge by.)
Healthy communities are important. What do the parties say about reducing toxics? About contamination? About transportation? Find out here.
What do the parties say about environmental rights? Look here, and find out.
Finally, what has your party achieved? Again, the PCs did not respond. To me there is much huffing and puffing in this section as opposed to concrete responses.
Go to Ontario Nature’s report, and decide for yourself which party best represents your values and what you regard as important.
