Dr. Madeline Weld | Green Growth: the Mantra of Our Cognitive Dissonance. | CACOR Zoom Presentation | 2022-07-13

July 13, 2022 @ 13:30 - 15:00 EDT

Speaker: Dr. Madeline Weld

Topic: Green Growth: the Mantra of Our Cognitive Dissonance.

Time: Jul 13, 2022 13:30 Eastern Time (US and Canada)

Summary:

The Canadian government lays out plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and implement green energy policies, while at the same time massively increasing immigration levels in order to drive rapid population growth. This population growth has significant negative impacts on the environment but has not provided any benefits to working Canadians. On the contrary: among other things, it has put home ownership out of reach for many of them. One might reasonably ask whether the government’s priority in setting its policies is not the well-being of its citizens but rather to serve a globalist agenda.
