Topic: What if Wolves Could Vote?
Time: May 8, 2024 13:30 Eastern Time (US and Canada)
Summary:
This talk takes a look at our political history in the U.S. and Canada of protecting and often harming the wolf from a wolf’s perspective. Wolves have been maligned ever since European settlement in North America and yet as an apex and keystone specie we need them to thrive in order to maintain ecosystems at their optimal level. What do wolves need, and which political party is doing the most to help them? This is the question that will be explored as we do a deep dive into the attitudes and policies towards this most important mammal, while learning a lot about ourselves because the better we treat the wolf, the better lives we can all have.
