China’s CO2 emissions fall in Q2 2026 due to plummeting oil use – a decline of 9%

Carbon Brief has published a report that shows that China’s oil used dropped by a whopping 9% in Q2 2026.  This is the beginning of a decline that is fuelled (pun intended) by an accelerating adoption of electric transportation.  For the full article see:
