CW (Buzz) Nixon, past chairman of CACOR and active volunteer, mused about the myriad problems facing mankind.  This was part of The 5000 Days meeting.  He presented 33 questions, such as “Why have we managed to create a predicament which is almost precisely what we have been trying to avoid?”  He concluded by asking “Will mankind take this action [to create a sustainable society]?  Sadly, he suggested the answer was No.  [Even more sadly, almost three decades later there is ample evidence that  he was correct.  Ed.]
