Drew Wilson is a graduate in mechanical engineering and the liberal arts and has held technical, administrative, research and management positions in the U.K. and the Public Service of Canada, from which he retired 30 years ago. He served for many years as chair of the History Committees of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering and the Engineering Institute of Canada, and has been president of both. He joined CACOR in 1986 and has been both board member and chair of the Association. Over the years he has written many papers and been a frequent lecturer on a variety of subjects, and continues to do so.
