Tom said Madeline had made it clear that how to deal with (human) Global Population Growth remains unsolved.  [That remains true today, though now we have some camps saying that a drop in population is will greatly damage our economy and make us unable to support our elders.  Ed.]

Tom worried that we were spending too much time and effort arguing with each other and not enough on addressing the basics issues of the Universe.
