Unlike in J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world, there are no Bowtruckles or Whomping Willows at the University of Alberta — but they do have a collection of trees that Newt Scamander could be proud of. More than 80 species of trees and tall shrubs call North Campus home. Some are native, but many species hail from around the globe.
