Women’s Issues and Perspectives
The AGM of the International Club of Rome in Mexico City in 2014 created a Women’s Issues and Perspectives Committee. CACOR at its AGM in 2015 created its own committee on this theme and Valerie Hume agreed to chair it. At the international, national and local levels, such a committee brings new ways of identifying, seeing, drawing attention to, and recommending solutions to the world ‘problématique’.

Climate Group
The participants at the CACOR/Club of Rome Conference in Ottawa in September 2013 accepted the proposition that the peoples of the world face a super-ordinate challenge: global warming. The same month, ten members of CACOR formed an informal Climate Group to share news and views by email.

Values Group
The question of “values” is re-emerging as a topic of substantial interest to some members of CACOR.
- Read the Manifesto by Dr. Ted Mosquin and the late Dr. Stan Rowe to provide an initial foundation – “A Manifesto for Earth”
- Read a current issue, described as a “syndrome” rather than a scandal by Henry Mintzberg – “Syndrome”
