Guide: Electrify everything in your home | Rewiring America
This is very comprehensive and represents a lot of work to assemble all this information in one document. Hence a valuable document not to be rapidly outdate with time.
However, it missed a few things that I am doing in the Manotick Microgrid
- Not every jurisdiction has the Ontario option to switch to the Ultra-Low Overnight energy rate which gives great energy and financial savings using energy trading.
- Use of many motion-detector lights inside and outside the home.
- Use of remote-control manual switches to turn on/off baseloads (like instant on TVs etc.)
- When appropriate, turn EV charging on or off for charging by sunshine only
