The McKinsey plan (working with data from NGFS consortium of global Central Banks) calls for spending a total of $275 trillion, or 8.8% of global GDP YEARLY till 2050 to attain the Net-zero goal. McKinsey in January of this year suggests globally we need to increase our spending by 50% which does not seem to be happening.
