In 1992, CR (Buzz) Nixon provided CACOR members with a review of the Club of Rome publication Beyond the Limits, which was published at the 20-year anniversary of The Limits to Growth.  He saw the new work as essential reading, especially for those who failed to understand the original work, ignored its conclusions, overlooked its caveats, and emphasized only those aspects that were contrary to the conventional wisdom of the day (unfettered economic growth, ever-expanding population, and infinite capacity of Earth to absorb our wastes).  Buzz recommended the work as a basis for serious thought about the future prospects for humanity on this planet.
