Summary:
The Federal Reserve System is perhaps the most influential organization in the world when it comes to the rate of economic growth. It is a pro-growth institution designed for the 20th century, prior to the breaching of long-term ecological and economic capacity. If we — nationally and globally — are to undertake an intentional, democratically designed transition from economic growth to a steady state economy in the 21st century, the Fed must help lead the way. That will require substantial reform; thus the Sustainable Monetary Policy Act (SMPA) developed by CASSE, published in the Steady State Herald on June 11, 2026, and presented to CACOR on October 14.

Czech is the author of four books, the latest being Gag-Ordered No More: The 800-Pound Gorilla in the U.S. Government.
